Every day, countless people are affected by brain injuries as a result of accidents, illnesses or other traumatic events. For many of them, this can change their life for a long time. The Brain Injury Fund aims to improve the lives of these people and their loved ones. We strive to fulfil this mission by gathering, applying and disseminating knowledge, with the ultimate goal of having a positive impact on the daily lives of those affected by brain injuries.
Our fund develops various activities to realise this ambition, including scientific research and knowledge valorisation, innovation in care and product development, education and training, as well as information and social initiatives. We focus on various forms of brain disorders, ranging from strokes to brain damage caused by accidents or illnesses, in both children and adults. Our approach covers all stages after brain damage has been incurred, from acute care to long-term care, and promises to mark a promising new phase in the fight against the impact of brain damage.
With your support, we can continue to invest in research and initiatives that offer hope to people with brain injuries and their loved ones. Let’s strive together for a future in which they receive the care and support they deserve.
