Hot off the press: Annual Report 2024

Hot off the press: Annual Report 2024

We are pleased to share the 2024 Annual Report of the Limburg University Fund. In this report, we look back on the positive developments and achievements of the past year, while also reflecting on our progress. We invite you to explore all the topics and activities the Fund was involved in during 2024.

“In our approach, as a relatively small yet highly energetic team, we have become increasingly effective. Our knowledge of fundraising has grown once again, and we’ve succeeded in further expanding our regional network. Our crowdfunding platform, UMCrowd, has been successfully active since 2019, and our website was recently completely renewed. Across the board, we are becoming more professional as an organisation. By the end of 2024, we will also meet the standards of the ‘Code of Good Governance’, a qualification formally granted to us by the Association of Philanthropic Funds in the Netherlands (FIN).
2025 promises to be a remarkable year, marking the 60th anniversary of the Fund. We also hope to launch our very first large-scale fundraising campaign, aimed at supporting research projects and educational programmes that address pressing regional transitions. We will need all the support we can get—and rest assured, our commitment will be unwavering!”

– Bouwien Janssen, Director, University Fund Limburg | SWOL
