For Each Other 2025/26: More than €59,000 raised

It’s a wrap: our 2025/26 Annual Fund Campaign. We are delighted to have brought this edition to such a wonderful close. This year’s campaign was extra special thanks to two milestones: UFL60 and UM50. Under the motto ‘Working towards a healthy and equal society’, we joined forces to support four unique and socially relevant projects with compelling themes. Together, we have shown the power of engagement and solidarity.

This year, 317 individuals donated a total of €59,897!

The contributions support improved detection of brain tumours (€7,512), scholarships for talented changemakers (€13,422), a voice for children in conflict zones (€33,825*) and opportunities for all researchers to drive innovation (€5,138). These are wonderful amounts that will enable scientists to take meaningful steps forward in their research.

In recent years, we have seen a stable and committed group of donors, which gives us great confidence in this tradition. As in previous years, this group consists of a diverse mix of individuals – including alumni and UM staff – as well as companies and organisations. Thanks to the extra sense of togetherness surrounding the anniversaries, we were able to achieve an impressive final amount of over €45,000 this year. We are incredibly proud of this and deeply grateful.

Our sincere thanks go to everyone who contributed to this Annual Fund Campaign, also on behalf of the project owners.

This support once again gives us motivation, energy and inspiration to begin the next Annual Fund Campaign with full conviction when the time comes.

*In addition to the annual fund campaign, a supplementary crowdfunding campaign was launched for the Child Peace project, resulting in the remarkable amount raised.
