The Professor Jo Ritzen Scholarship is named after Jo Ritzen, former director of Maastricht University and Minister of Education and Science, who made the scholarship possible by making the first major financial contribution. This scholarship is specifically intended for students who want to follow a 3-year bachelor’s programme at the Faculty of Law (LAW) at Maastricht University.

Who is the Professor Jo Ritzen Scholarship for?

This scholarship is available to students who want to follow a three-year bachelor’s programme at the Law Faculty (LAW) of Maastricht University. You must meet the following criteria:

  • Belgian, Luxembourg or French nationality.
  • First generation student (FGS), which means that you are the first in your family to pursue higher education.
