Science Practice Fund

The Science Practice Fund aims to promote the practice of scientific education, research and social services at Maastricht University. This is done by providing financial support in the broadest sense of the word.

To this end, the named fund has at least the following designated uses:

• the establishment of endowed chairs (i.e. chairs in practice, affiliation chairs and endowed chairs on behalf of a legal entity that does not meet the established criteria but is of strategic value to Maastricht University).
• The presentation of student awards during the Dies Natalis celebration for students who have rendered outstanding service.

Advisory committee

The advisory committee of the Fund for the Promotion of Science is chaired by the rector of Maastricht University, Ms. Prof. Dr. P. Habibovic.
